Political Hotspot Policemen patrol residential zones in Nakuru, some 150 kilometers (95 miles) northwest of Kenya capital, Nairobi on January 17, 2013 during political parties primaries ahead of the March 4 elections. The exercise was postponed after ballot papers arrived late and made it impossible to have the primaries. The town was one of the worst hit areas by the 2007-08 post poll violence that left at least 1, 100 people dead.
